Hi. My name is Susan Clayton. I'm the Reader in Alpha Reader Developmental Editing Services. I love to work with writers and that's why I'm excited you're on this page.

I've been doing this for a while now. What I know about literature and writing can be useful to you. While the first read is the deepest, my style is thorough and kind. You'll get the why as well as the what to help you polish your craft as well as your story. Did you miss a trick, a hidden opportunity to make the story that lives in your heart and mind come to life for the reader. Will you like every comment? Probably not. That's okay. It's my job to be honest. What I won't be is mean.
